Native American Heritage Preserve

Phoenix, AZ

Working with a group of members of a range of Native American tribes, the intent was to create a national repository of cultural artifacts, teaching of indigenous crafts and language preservation. Though created for the Native Americans, for their benefit, it was intended for much of the presentation to be open to the general public, as an educational experience.

Paul Winslow, FAIA, led the design development, and was the project architect while working at Orcutt/Winslow.
