Four Corners Plan
Phoenix, AZ

A planning effort for the City of Phoenix for a blighted area, that was a focus for negative activity.  The goal was to collaborate with the community on creating a plan to develop a more positive image of this community.  The process included working with both community leaders and community groups.  The intent was to join the four corners of the intersection of Broadway Road and 24th Street in order to create an identifiable image for the community.  The plan included a range of types of commercial development, with some focused on cultural identity.  It also included the incorporation of civic groups, community organizations and entertainment opportunities.

Paul Winslow, FAIA, led the design development, and was the project architect while working at Orcutt/Winslow.
