Degrazia Elementary School, named in honor of local artist, Ettore DeGrazia, was identified as needing updating by masterplanning studies with the MUSD. Visitors to the school were uncertain of how to enter the campus, and the school wanted to add security while lightening the feel of the original front entry.  

The district also wanted to add signage, parking and landscaping at the front of the school to relieve congestion and add approachability to the campus.

Our firm designed a small entry addition, new fence line, seating areas for parents to seat while waiting for their kids, and accessibility ramps to meet the school's needs.
