Our team created a conceptual design for a private developer who wanted a simple yet contemporary solution for the next generation of urban housing.  An 11-story mixed-use building on Central Avenue and Monterey Way, with residential and commercial space, 226 units (with one, two, and three bedrooms), three floors of parking, a common area with a negative edge pool, and a jacuzzi overlooking Central Avenue. All the common spaces and amenities were designed to foster social interaction and urban living amongst residents.

The bottom floor retail space ties back into the urban streetscape and light rail. The design provides opportunities for pedestrians, bicyclists, bus riders, light rail passengers, and motorists to enjoy the site amenities simultaneously, while connecting to the retail portion of the development.
