Fillmore Paseo
Phoenix, AZ

The Fillmore Paseo project's strength is the creation of a new landmark and destination that helps bridge the lack of connectivity between the new mix of commercial assets east of Central Ave. Continuing the Paseo concept of interconnected small "Paseo" streets with smaller plazas, residences and attractions along the way. The masterplan our firm created is the basics of 1.2M square feet mixed use building development on an assemblage with significant existing city infrastructure and cultural amenities. On almost 8 acres in an area that has languished for decades, the Paseo district provides precisely the sort of urban mix of adjacencies that would put downtown Phoenix in the map as a unique international destination.

Our firm planned critical elements to create connectivity and relationship between dense new residential development, retail and cultural amenities anchored by hospitality and office assets. We insured that the project had enough critical mass to spur adjacent development and yet maintain the character and people scale so vital to it's success. Proposed adaptive reuse of the large 1930's Milum warehouse complex, as an entertainment and retail destination, for the growing number of new urban residents (predicted 5,600+ new units within the area).
